Hurray for The Riff Raff - St Roch Blues (traducción al español)

Idealism was all songs and nobility until I started hurting people around me by disregarding their right not to share my views, the right that anyone has to be themselves, others. Idealism was all fun and relief until I discovered that my own envisionment, my order, it was not so different from the inhuman established nightmare that I claimed to understand and wished to destroy at any cost. Consumed, you could say I was being consumed by my own aprehention. If others were, if others existed, then I had to be and be made responsable for my neglected self. That is at least what I can say in regards to my interpretation of 'idealism' and my hidden mares/fears. I see things differently now. Today I can truly see how my professor tried his best to cause a significant change and to plant seeds in other people's heads for their own benefit and growth, even for mine. Not many people have the guts to be themselves when they stand in front of others. The more I renounce to this, the more aware I feel of my arrogance and stubbornness.
Forget, I try not to forget and I will try not to hide any gratitude I may had stowed away.

St. Roch Blues

There must be somewhere in this whole world
There must be somewhere in this whole world
Cause I keep on trying, I keep on trying,

I keep on trying, I keep on trying!

Bullets are flying from the young man's hands
People are dying, no one understands
And I keep on crying, I keep on crying
I keep on crying, I keep on crying.
Uh, uh, uh, uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh

Baby, please don't go
Down to New Orleans!
Cause you don't now
The things that I've seen!
Them bullets are flying,
Bullets are flying
Bullets are flying
Bullets are flying

Uh, got the St. Roch Blues
Down my soul
I've seen so many
Of my good friends go
And it won't be long,
It won't be long,
It won't be long,
It won't be long,
Till I go!
Uh, uh, uh, uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh

uh, uh, uh, uh

cariño, por favor no te vayas
a Nueva Orleáns
porque no sabes todo
lo que he visto pasar
las balas vuelan por los aires
las balas vuelan
las balas vuelan
las balas vuelan

siento la tristeza de San Roco
adentro de mi alma
he visto a muchos
de mis buenos amigos marcharse
y no falta mucho
no falta mucho
no, no falta mucho
para que me vaya de aquí
uh, uh, uh, uh
